Building an SME Marketing Site with React + Vite: 2026 Standards

In 2026, an SME marketing site is no longer just "three pages with a contact form". Your prospects compare your loading speed, mobile accessibility and Google ranking before they even look at your offer. If your site takes 5 seconds to load on 4G, you have already lost 53 % of your visitors. That is why I build every client site with a modern stack: React + Vite + static site generation, which guarantees a Lighthouse score of 100/100 from day one.
In this article, I break down the stack I use at CODRUM, two real-world case studies (a construction SME in Dublin and an aesthetician in Morsang-sur-Orge), and realistic pricing for an SME marketing site in 2026.
What is expected from an SME marketing site today
Standards have shifted dramatically over the past three years. A serious marketing site today must deliver a Lighthouse score of 100 across all four pillars (performance, accessibility, best practices, SEO), meet Google Core Web Vitals (LCP under 2.5s, CLS under 0.1), achieve WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance, and offer a multilingual version if the audience requires it. Add to that GDPR compliance with cookie consent, clean Open Graph tags for sharing on LinkedIn and WhatsApp, and a sitemap correctly indexed in Google Search Console. This is the new baseline, not a premium add-on.
React + Vite + SSG: why this stack and not WordPress
WordPress remains popular but carries three structural issues. First, performance: an average WordPress site delivers an LCP of 3 to 5 seconds, compared with 0.5 seconds on a React + Vite stack with static site generation (SSG). Second, security: 90 % of WordPress compromises come through vulnerable third-party plugins (Elementor, WPBakery, Contact Form 7). With my stack, there are simply no server-side executable plugins. Third, hosting cost: shared OVH hosting costs 60 € per year plus update maintenance, whereas an SSG site is hosted free of charge on Vercel or Cloudflare Pages, with a global CDN included. In practice, I use React 19, Vite 7, Tailwind CSS v4, Supabase for forms and database, and vite-react-ssg for the pre-rendered static generation that serves plain HTML to Google.
Case study 1 — Clad-Primeco (construction, Dublin)
Daniel Danu runs Clad-Primeco, a construction and cladding SME in Dublin. His client base is split between English-speaking Irish clients and Romanian site teams. The website therefore had to be bilingual EN/RO, reflect a professional positioning and generate qualified quote requests. Delivered outcome: Lighthouse 100/100/100/100 on desktop, 96/100/100/100 on mobile, LCP of 0.5 seconds, secure contact form with hCaptcha and rate-limiting, Vercel deployment with ongoing Blacknight DNS migration for the cladprimeco.ie domain. The whole project in under 8 weeks, including mockup iterations. You can review the Clad-Primeco project details with before/after screenshots and performance benchmarks.
Case study 2 — Milena Glow Up (aesthetician, Morsang)
Milena Torosyan works as an aesthetician and cosmetologist in Morsang-sur-Orge. Her client base is French and Russian-speaking (the local Armenian and Russian community), which required a full FR/RU internationalisation, with first names and treatment descriptions translated carefully. Beyond the classic marketing site, the site features a priced services page (hair removal, facial care, cosmetology), an online booking module, and a GDPR-compliant privacy policy page for the collection of client contact details. Lighthouse 100 across all four pillars, restrained animations that respect prefers-reduced-motion, soft visual identity aligned with the cosmetics space. See the Milena project details for the UX breakdown and palette choices.
Pricing, timelines and what is included
For a French SME, I price across two clear tiers. A 5-page marketing site (home, services, about, contact, legal notices) in a single language is invoiced from 1 500 €. A full SME site with multilingual support, advanced forms, blog or catalogue, third-party integrations starts from 2 500 €. The final price depends on design complexity and the integrations required: tailored quote within 48 business hours after a free initial call. Realistic timelines are 4 to 8 weeks for a marketing site, and 8 to 14 weeks for a full SME project, factoring in mockup iterations. Always included: Figma mockups validated before development, full development, baseline SEO (tags, sitemap, robots.txt, Open Graph), Vercel or OVH deployment as preferred, and one month of post-launch warranty for minor adjustments. If you are launching a project in 2026, write to me via the contact page with your brief and I will reply within 48 hours with a costed estimate.
